Jake Spadoni

Biography

Spadoni is in his first year as a Coach at Alfred University. He has been assisting in the Webster youth and high school lacrosse programs for the past five years. Prior to his coaching, Spadoni played at Webster Schroeder as a defensive middie and earned All-League honors. After graduating, Spadoni attended Alfred University where he started for four years as a close defenseman.

In four years he started 57 out of 58 games, totaled 143 caused turnovers (leading the Empire 8 Conference in this stat for two years), tallied 194 groundballs, and added 3 goals and 2 assists.

In his college career, Spadoni was named team MVP twice and Defensive MVP three times. During his junior year, he earned Second Team All-Empire 8 and Empire 8 Conference President’s List honors. His senior year, Spadoni again was awarded Empire 8 Conference President’s List honors along with First Team All-Empire 8 and Honorable Mention All-American.

In college Jake Studied Early Childhood/Childhood Education, in which he earned his bachelor’s degree. Jake is now pursuing his master’s in Literacy and Special Ed.
