Coaching acomplishments

Earning his first Head Coaching job in 1999, he guided Virginia Wesleyan College to its highest national ranking, 15th. After a two-year stint with the Marlins, Wynne accepted a coaching position at Cornell University, where he was the Defensive Coordinator in 2001 and 2002. Wynne left the Big Red after the 2002 season to join the Salisbury School.
Currently in his eleventh year as the Head Lacrosse Coach, the team has compiled a 135 – 20 (.87) overall record and has captured a share of five Western New England Championships in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2012 and won it outright in 2010. Gaining national recognition over the past decade many Salisbury lacrosse players have gone on to compete at the highest level and at some of our country’s most prestigious colleges.

Lacrosse acomplishments

A member of two-time National Champions at Hobart College, Wynne collected many individual honors as well. A two-time first-team USILA All-American in 1993-94, he also earned the USILA Division III Midfielder of the Year Award in 1994.
Coach Wynne received the Kraus Memorial Award, as the College’s top senior athlete and the Crook Family Award as the lacrosse MVP in 1994. After earning his degree from Hobart, Wynne remained active in lacrosse as an Assistant Coach at Hampden-Sydney College and Hobart College.

Coach Bobby Wynne currently serves as the Director of College and Student Affairs and Head Lacrosse Coach at Salisbury School in Connecticut.
