Coaching acomplishments

Coached both boys and girls lacrosse for Fairport town teams the past eight years. Also coached youth hockey for the past 10 years and is currently an Assistant Coach with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres 2004 team.

Lacrosse acomplishments

Played for two undefeated New York State championship teams at West Genesee High School under Coach Mike Messere.  Played at the University of Notre Dame . During Senior year was the team's leading scorer and teammates voted him the MVP.  First team all conference and all league selection and a District 5 Academic All-America.

Biography

John McLachlan is currently one of the founders of ROC IT Solutions, a local software and professional services company and resides in Fairport where he has coached both boys and girls lacrosse for town team programs the past eight years.

Coach McLachlan played for two undefeated NY State championship teams at West Genesee High School under Coach Mike Messere. He is a University of Notre Dame graduate where he played Attack. During his senior year, he was the team's leading scorer and his teammates voted him MVP. He was the first All Conference and All League Selection and was named a District 5 Academic All-American. Coach McLachlan has also coached youth hockey for the past 10 years and is currently an Assistant Coach with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres 2004 team.
