Victor rising freshman Camden Hay, recently announced his commitment to study and play lacrosse at Syracuse University after his graduation in 2020.
Camden plans to attend the School of Education and major in Special Education and hopes to one day work with kids who have special needs.
In the off season Camden has played for the Sweetlax Upstate Team. This past summer he played in the Battle of Baltimore, Sweetlax All Star game, Under Armour tournament, Naptown Challenge, Young Guns and Maverick Showtime tournaments. Before making his decision Camden considered Maryland, Albany, Ohio State and Michigan.

INTERVIEW WITH CAMDEN HAY:
1. Why did you choose Syracuse to continue your education?
I have always loved Syracuse, it is a great school. I really liked the coaches and I can't wait to be part of the Syracuse team.
2. What tip would you give other players looking to play at the College level?
Work hard in school and on the lacrosse field. Always give 100%.
3. What has been your favorite part of Sweetlax Lacrosse?
My favorite part of Sweetlax is the tough competition we play against, my teammates and also my coaches.
4. What is your favorite subject in school?
Math
5. What is your favorite vacation spot?
I would probably say the Adirondacks because I like to fish. But really any vacation is a good vacation.
6. Do you have a favorite lacrosse moment so far?
My favorite lacrosse moment was when I made the Under Armour Underclass Team.
7. What do you do in your personal time to improve your game?
I spend a lot of time in my backyard or at the school turf shooting and working on my weak hand. I also like to workout to stay in shape.
